It starts with the clay. Artisans venture deep into the mountains to source mineral-rich clay, then purify it through repeated sieving and refining. This careful selection gives every handmade ceramic cup its distinct, earthy texture.
Next, the artisan shapes the clay on a wheel, gently forming the squared rim and rounded body by hand. When the cup is half-dry, they paint geometric patterns using natural mineral glazes. Each brushstroke varies in tone and flow, making every handmade ceramic cup a unique piece of art.
