In the tranquil courtyard of an ancient temple, the old monk swept the falling lotus petals every day. Inspired by this serene beauty, the young ceramic artist, Ann, decided to capture it in his handmade ceramic creations.
Back in the studio, Ann’s mind filled with the image of the lotus. He eagerly kneaded his longing for Zen and beauty into delicate handmade ceramic clay. His fingers, like an artist’s brush, carefully traced the graceful form of the lotus, from the lid to the bowl and tray. Each lotus pattern spoke of peace and transcendence. After firing at high temperature, Ann successfully created the handmade ceramic Lotus Lidded Bowl.
When you steep a cup of tea, the rising steam brings the peacefulness of the ancient temple and the elegance of the lotus to life. Furthermore, each time you lift it, you embrace Zen and find inner peace and comfort in the fragrance of tea and the grace of the lotus.
