Artisans begin by digging dark clay from mountain sources. Then, they clean and refine it through multiple steps. This includes careful selection and grinding. Next, skilled potters shape each piece by hand. They form the Gaiwan's curves and the tea tray's surface using organic shapes. After that comes the special Star glazing.
