In a world of mass-produced items, we all crave objects that feel special. This set of four small, coarse pottery cups brings warmth and character to your daily routine. Each handmade ceramic piece holds the maker's touch and a connection to nature.
Starting with the Earth
We begin by digging coarse clay from mountain sources. Our artisans then sieve and select the best soil—rich in natural texture. This careful process gives every handmade ceramic cup its unique, earthy feel.
Shaping by Hand
Next, the artisan shapes each cup entirely by hand. Some are thrown on a wheel, others are pinched into form. Each cup—and its cap-like handle—takes its own shape. One may have a rounder rim, another a slimmer handle. Since hands make them, no two are alike.
Fire and Transformation
Then, we fire the cups at high temperatures. The kiln heat brings out soft color changes and a gritty, natural texture. Fire and clay work together to give each cup its own story.
